Kutlwano Masote

DIRECTOR

Masote is an arts administrator and conductor. As an educator, he has mentored some of the finest young musicians from South Africa including Abel Selaocoe, Themba Machobane of the Soweto String Quartet, Reabetswe Ngoasheng and Neo Buthelezi of The Muses.

As his record demonstrates, he is passionate about transforming the face of classical music in South Africa. Having grown up in a home of musicians who gave their time and resources to promote music, Masote is all too aware of the challenges the sector faces today and is ready to be part of the solution.
